Osprey expert Tim Mackrill highlights that conservation efforts in Europe are inadequate if they don’t consider the full flyway and the birds’ wintering locations. Many raptors, including ospreys, return to the same specific sites in countries like Ghana, Guinea, and Gambia annually.
