In Nepal’s Limi Valley, high-altitude habitats are suffering from human encroachment advancing at an unprecedented pace. This is pushing wildlife, such as Himalayan wolves, into ever-smaller pockets of shrinking habitat. The study area, once wild, now shows signs of increased livestock grazing and vegetation burning, indicating a reduction in wild spaces.
