A yellow alert has been issued for parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Kerala, forecasting heavy rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm. Delhi-NCR may experience cloudy skies, light rain, and strong winds, with temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius. Coastal Andhra Pradesh could see thunderstorms with winds up to 60 km/h.
Authorities have advised residents and farmers to remain cautious, avoid vulnerable areas, and follow official weather warnings. Intense showers could lead to waterlogging and disrupt transportation. In Uttarakhand, heavy rainfall warnings have prompted advice to avoid vulnerable slopes and riverbanks due to potential landslides and increased river levels.
