Uttarakhand faces significant flood and landslide risks due to persistent rainfall, which has disrupted roads and raised river levels. Bihar, Jharkhand, and northeastern states are also under orange alerts for heavy to very heavy rainfall.
Despite widespread rain, some parts of India have recorded above-normal temperatures. The weather system has implications for agriculture and daily life, with advisories issued for farmers and the general public regarding precautions against potential hazards like flash floods and landslides.
